Marbled endpapers. = An important contribution to the older Tertiary of the Alpine region, which includes the description and illustration of several new nummulites, by the Swiss geologist Arnold Heim (1882-1965). With the hand-written dedication by the author to the great French palaeontologist and malacologist Joseph Henri Ferdinand Douvillé (1846-1937) in the top margin of the front wrapper. Offprint from the society's Abhandlungen. A few leaves with a small crease in the very outer margin, last plate detached, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
