Speckled edges. = A massive publication with fine text engravings and lithographed plates. With the introduction to the Arthropoda including an overview of the history of the taxonomy. Attention is paid to the phylogeny and fossil records of the groups treated, and the trilobites are added. Endpapers and first text pages rather heavily foxed, scattered sections of pages and plates rather foxed too. Hinges starting, bookplate on front paste-down, library label on spine foot, otherwise a good, complete copy.
