Marbled endpapers. = This monograph provides a review of all what was known about vascular plant physiology and morphology, including a review of what previous authors thought upon this subject. The work occupies the whole second supplement of the 18th volume of the academy's Verhandlungen. Small old stamp on the Latin title page, light and evenly toned, some scattered light spotting but mostly clean. A very good, nicely bound copy. Stafleu and Cowan, 11287.
