Original printed wrappers. = Seminal work on semen, in particular of various species of vertebrates, including toads, and invertebrates, including crustaceans, and molluscs (e.g. Helix pomatia, and marine nudibranchs). Written by the Swiss anatomist, physiologist, and histologist, Albert von Kölliker (1817-1905), a pioneer in microscopical anatomy and founder of the study of cell physiology. This is in fact one of his earliest papers involving this subject. Published in the society's Neue Denkschriften, Band VIII. Uncut. Wrappers - of the issue - split at spine fold, and rear wrapper detached. Otherwise a very good, clean copy. Very uncommon.
