London, The Zoological Society of London, 1881. 4to (32.0 x 25.5 cm). 40 pp.; some text figures, 13 lithographed plates (three hand-coloured). Original printed wrappers. = Published in the Society's Transactions no less than 39 years after "Part I". This is one of Richard Owen's major malacological publications. It deals with Dibranchiata (genus Tritaxeopus), Plectoteuthis grandis, etc., etc. Three of the fine lithographic plates (by J. Erxleben) are beautifully hand-coloured, the other plates are mostly by the famous natural history illustrator Joseph Smit. front wrapper missing; rear wrapper detached and with a large tear; internally, however, much better: a few weak, small, marginal spots, otherwise an excellent, clean copy.
