Lisbonne, Académie royale des Sciences, [1904]-1905. Very large 4to (32.8 x 25.2 cm). 168 pp.; 30 phototype plates with explanatory text leaves. Later wrappers with the title added in pencil. = A rare and important monograph with new species. The main work is by the Swiss palaeontologist Frédéric Louis Koby (1852-1930); the Notice stratigraphique is by Choffat, who also published on the cephalopods, brachiopods and bivalves of this fauna. The plate figures are excellent photographs. Uncut. Small stamp on front wrapper. Otherwise a very good, clean copy.
