Publishers pebbled brown cloth with gilt title on the spine and pictorial front board with gilt title. Marbled edges. = A well-preserved first volume 1886, of this profusely illustrated weekly. Complete with an index. The binding is very beautiful. Only some rubbing to the front board and wear to a the spine ends, mild toning to the endpapers and title, and one or two small spots. Otherwise a very good, clean and unmarked copy. Definitely rare in this state.
