Edges speckled red. = Written by the Austrian mineralogist Wilhelm Karl Freiherr von Haidinger (1795-1871). Haidinger's papers a mineralogical. We offer the complete volume of the Dritte Reihe, zehnter Band (volume 70 of the whole series with 590 [x, 580] pp.; andthree engraved plates), edited by J. C. Poggendorff. It includes 67 contributions by Haidinger and others, such as C. Karsten, M. Faraday, E. Becquerel, etc., etc. Very slight rubbing, otherwise very good, clean, unmarked and in an attractive contemporary binding.
