Gilt title, bands and vignette on the spine. = Rare thesis on fossil seeds and fruits, dedicated to one of the foremost 19th-century palaeobotanical specialists, Johann Heinrich Robbert Göppert, or Goeppert (1800-1884). The author, Andreas Reinhold Berger (1824-1850) was a promising young German botanist.
