Original near uniform printed wrappers, except Besonderer Theil III, which has blind "Gustav Fischer"-orange wrappers. = A rarely seen complete set of this seminal work on the morphology, anatomy, ontogeny and phylogeny of the sharks, rays and related fish. Written by the German ichthyologist Johann Carl (or Karl) Franz Hasse (1841-1922). The four "Stammtafeln" are separately numbered. Single issues are uncommon (especially the second part).
