Various places and publishers, 1916-1938. In 12 volumes. 8vo and large 8vo (ca 23 x 15 cm). Near uniform brown buckram. Gilt title on the spines. = A complete collection of botanical works published over a period of 23 years by members of the Osborn Laboratory and fellow researchers from other institutions. All neatly bound, and with printed content pages. Many important monographs are included, usually as offprints, with their original printed wrappers. The activity and output of the Laboratory is both versatile and massive. Hundreds of papers are included, the total number of pages exceeds 5,000. A true botanical treasure cove. Shelf width is 43 cm (17'). The last four volumes are a bit larger than the first eight. Some light signs of age, several small stamps (never on plates); overall in very good condition. Rare, if not unique.
