Original printed wrappers. = The rarely seen thesis by the French zoologist and ichthyologist Joseph Puyo, and an important early contribution to fishing and fish farming in Guyane (Northern South America). Later, Puyo wrote several general guides on Guyane's vertebrates. The illustrations are by the author, and include a map, fishing methods, and fish species. An excellent, clean copy.
