Full colour printed boards. = The first and still only complete coverage of the popular cone family, with numerous illustrations in full colour, and many additional b/w photos (e.g., of holotypes). This is the copy of the leading Conidae specialist of the second half of the 20th, and early years of the 21st century, Alan Jacob Kohn (1931-2022). Kohn's autograph, and a taxonomical note (correcting an error by Walls) on the front free endpaper, as well as a note on the exact date of publication. Front inner joint weak; transparent protective layer chipped at spine, otherwise very good.
