The sale consisted of Jacques Prevert's collection of signed books and works of art. An historic sale, several of the lots were either pre-empted by the government as patrimony or bought by the French museums. 48 lots in the sale. All illustrated. Many in color. Essays about Jacques Prevert (1900- 1977) the well known writer whose friends included Picasso, Miro, the surrealists, etc. Prices realized sheets included. 11" high X 8" wide, 80 pages.
