The set comprises: Vol. I: text; Vol. II documents. First volume of De Gaulle's memoirs, originally published by Plon (Paris) as 'Memoires de Guerre: L'Appel 1940-1942'. This is the sole volume published by Collins; the second and third volumes appeared under the imprint of Weidenfeld & Nicolson. Enser, p.173 (recording erroneously all three volumes by Weidenfeld & Nicolson).
