The sale consisted of ceramics by Picasso, Vlaminck, Jais Nielsen, Andre Masson, Georges Rouault, Raoul Dufy, Miro, Cocteau, and Jean Lurcat. The section on British ceramics had work by Quentin Bell, Philip Sutton, Graham Sutherland, Bernard Leach, William Staite Murray, Michael Cardew, David Frith, David Leach, Geoffrey Swindell, John Ward, Lucie Rie and Hans Coper among others. A brief section of the sale was devoted to 20th century art glass from Scandinavia and Italy. All lots illustrated, most in color.
