Five parts, complete. The auction catalogue of perhaps the best collection of prints assembled during the 19th century. Part I: Ecole Allemande; Part II: Ecole Flamande et Hollandaise; Part III: Ecole Italienne; Part IV: Ecole Francaise; Part V: Ecole Anglaise. Rare in original parts. In this copy, items omitted in the original catalogue (but sold in the auction nonetheless) are neatly added in pencil by a contemporary hand. Large 8vo, wraps lettered in manuscript. Wear to wraps and two backstrips torn (without loss), but structurally solid. Internally uncut and bright, with several tax stamps (as always on copies sold before the auction).
