Calcutta, The Director, Zoological Survey of India, 1921-1924. Four parts in four. Large 8vo. 210 pp.; 21 text figures, four plates. Uniform printed wrappers. = A rarely seen complete set of the original edition, which was published in four parts in the series Records of the Indian Museum, with continuous pagination and text figure numbering. In fact, all parts are very uncommon if not rare. The scope of this monograph is worldwide, thus it is not confined to the Indian subcontinent. In fact, the Indian Museum houses one of the richest malacological collections in the world. At least one species, and several varieties are described as new. Small, oval stamp in the top margin of the front wrappers and first text pages, otherwise a very good, clean set.
