This is an about very good hardcover copy in a like dust jacket. One short closed tear to the top of the spine of the jacket and the book. Both restored by a professional conservator. Completely clean inside and out. Signed in ink by the artist, Rollin Pickford, on the title-page under the printed title and names. Briefly inscribed to a friend: "For. Love Rollin". Rollin Alphonse Pickford Jr. (1912-2010) was born in Fresno, CA. During his career he worked as a commercial illustrator and taught art at Fresno State College during 1948-62. He developed a distinctive style and his work is in many major American museum collections. Illustrated throughout in color. Also a number of black & white vintage photographs of the artist at work. 10" high X 12" wide, 287 pages. Signed by the artist. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
