This massive catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Vienna, at the Historischen Museums der Stadt Wien, during the winter of 1987 through the early summer of 1988. The exhibition was assembled by a team of scholars and it examined all aspects of Biedermeier art. Sections on painting, prints and drawings, decorative arts and furniture design, music, architecture, interior design, etc. Chronology of the period.
