Original printed wrappers. = A "Festschrift" for the American geologist and naturalist of German descent, Amadeus William Grabau (1870-1946) with contributions by many eminent Chinese palaeontologists and geologists. Moving to Beijing in 1919, Grabau was to become known as the Father of Chinese Geology. Includes several papers on molluscs, including one on new freshwater species. Some wear to the wrappers, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Very uncommon.
