This is a very good hardcover copy in full green polished Morocco, decorated in gilt. Some wear to spine tips with loss of surface color. The spine also has raised bands which have some wear. Overall still a very good copy in an attractive leather binding decorated in gilt with horseheads and horeshoes at the corners, front and back, and gilt-tooling on the edges and turn-ins. Marbled endpapers. All page-edges gilt. Binding unsigned. 11 color plates of paintings of well known British racecourses and black & white drawings, all by Lionel Edwards, R.I.
