Spine with five raised bands and gilt title. Matching original marbled slipcase (49.6 x 42.5 x 3.2 cm) with printed label. = With fine 18th-century illustrations of Irish birds, never published before. Little is known about the artist, Richard Dunscombe Parker (c.1805-1881); he is not recorded by Bénézit. A fine copy - one of only 250 copies printed, of which this is number 75, and signed by both editors. With special extra-gilted spine.
