Framed (frame size 34.0 x 26.0 cm) with the descriptions in German pasted on board. = Part of the herpetological section, Amphibien, of the famous Bilderbuch edited and published by Friedrich Johann Justin Bertuch (1747-1822). The plate shows four snakes. With natural colouring. German text added (mounted), the French text (verso) therefore not readable. A nice, clean copy.
