Descrizione
Halle, Hemmerde & Schwetschke, 1805. Near square 4to (21.5 x 18.3 cm). ix, 36 pp.; seven engraved plates. Contemporary green blind boards. Script title in a tiny, neat old hand on the spine. Speckled edges. = Nicely illustrated work on small fresh water crustaceans, in particular Cladocera and Ostracoda, but some other small Copepoda and hydracarii. The author, Karl August Ramdohr (?-after 1833) was a German zoologist, entomologist, Crustacea specialist and microscopist. The drawings are quite detailed. A very good clean copy. Very rare.
