Erlangen, [the author], 1893. 8vo (21.6 x 14.5 cm). 36 pp.; one lithographed plate. Published without wrappers. = A very rare - virtually unknown - work on Jurassic Foraminifera, with a fine plate. Written by Friedrich Sellheim, about whom next to nothing is known, except that he later became a Magistrats-Kanzlist. This is the author's thesis, submitted to the Friedrich-Alexanders-Universität in Erlangen, Germany. It contains the valid descriptions of several new species, which are either not recorded in modern literature, or attributed to other authors. An excellent, clean and unmarked copy.
