With 26 illustrations by Kurt Wiese. 8vo, publisher's original green ribbed cloth, lettered and with vignette of Bambi in gilt on the upper cover, with colour pictorial endpapers. 293 pp. Internally a very nice copy, the text is clean and solid with minimal mellowing, the green cloth solid with mellowing to the spine panel, the spine lettering with fading, some normal age evidence.
