To the German conductor and composer Gustav Kogel (1849-1921), making quite detailed remarks on a symphony under Kogel's conducting she had listened to. - In 1891, Gustav Kogel had been appointed as successor of the late Carl Mueller to head the Frankfurt Museum concerts, a position which he held until 1903, and in which he brought numerous orchestral and contemporary compositions to the stage.
