A COMPLETE SET OF THIS IMPORTANT AND RARE WORK COMPRISING DOZENS OF STUDIES RELATING TO NORMANDY. xvi, 296 plus two folding etched plates by Langlois (depicting Château Gaillard) and two lithographs by Engelmann; 3, ii, 420, 4 (prospectus), 12 (bookseller's catalogue) pp PLUS a folding lithographed plate by Engelmann on chine appliqué. Printed on extremely fine laid paper. 8vo. Beautifully bound in contemporary quarter calf and marbled boards. Spines gilt and decorated in blind. Tiny traces of wear to extremities of bindings, else FINE AND BRIGHT. Frère I, 378-79. Very rare.
