Metz, Warion and Alcan, 1862. Small 8vo (17.0 x 10.8 cm). vii, 131 pp.; several steel-engravings. Original printed wrappers. = Rare geological monograph by the French geologist Christian Fridrici (1820-1880) on the French department on the the Mosel river, bordering Germany and Luxembourg. The text engravings include a few profiles, and many images of molluscs, mostly Mesozoic species, but also some of younger deposits. Partial split between front and spine cover, internaly a very good, clean copy. Neither in Ward and Carozzi, nor in Cat. BM(NH).
