8vo., Second Edition; black cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Lees-Milne's first stab at autobiography pre-dates his wonderful series of diaries. Originally published in 1970, it is an hilarious account of his early years during the Edwardian 'enlightenment' of the 20s and 30s. The first edition is remarkably scarce; this issue, with introduction by Jeremy Lewis, is itself now quite difficult to find.
