Cloth with gilt title on the front board and spine. = This work by the Austrian geologist Alexander Tollmann (1928-2007) is richly illustrated, mainly showing facies and microfossils. The publisher did a poor job; the fore-edge is not entirely cut, and the book-block is too heavy for the binding, hence the hinges are weak. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper recto. Apart from the weak binding (as always), a very good, clean copy.
