With two large folding maps. 4to, bound in full contemporary polished calf, the spine with raised bands gilt stopped, the compartments with central gilt ornamental tools, two compartments lettered in gilt, the covers with double gilt rules at the borders, marbled endleaves, edges marbled to match. xii, 364, [11 Index], [1 Errata] pp. Very bright internally, clean, crisp and unpressed, the maps in excellent condition, the board edges a bit rubbed, the spine panel with some wear, the outer hinges starting, the inner hinges solid and strong and unbroken.
