8vo., First Edition, with a portrait frontispiece (original tissue guard present), 19 plates and 13 illustrations in the text; handsomely bound in burgundy full morocco, back with raised bands tooled in gilt, second and fourth compartments lettered in gilt, all other compartments tooled in gilt, uncut, gilt lettering from original front board and backstrip mounted on new and separate leaves at front, a most attractive copy ideal as a gift or for presentation. The plates are engraved by Cooper after Kerr. Allen 2.
