"The book reproduces the drawings on display with an obsessive layout. The drawings themselves are the pencil reproductions of the covers of some international periodicals that appeared in 1988. Twelve covers for twelve months of the year, 144 drawings.
The suppression of the critical text and the graphical structure of the publication move the nature of the work in the most ambitious area of the artist book. At the bottom, a short text in Italian and in French clarifies the meanings of the operation.
The book was the subject of tensions between Boetti and the gallery because the reproductions had not been put in chronological sequence."
