No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards, slight foxing to top of page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket price clipped but not marked or torn with very slight creasing to top of spine. 184pp. An account of the doomed attempts to arm and supply the Warsaw nationalists in the Warsaw Rising of 1944. Persistent bad weather, great distances between takeoff points and the target and well-positioned German air defenses within the city took an appalling toll of men and aircraft.
