London, Her Majesty's Stationery Office, 1983. Thick 8vo (24.5 x 15.6 cm). [ii], 668 pp.; 129 mostly page-sized (groups of) text figures, 27 full-colour plates. Original laminated pictorial softcover. = A profusely illustrated monograph, produced in cooperation with J. P. Fiard, "co-collector and photo-illustrator", and an absolute "must" for mycologists visiting the Lesser Antilles (Trinidad to Barbuda, and Barbados, and including Martinique and Guadeloupe), and in fact the whole Caribbean. The detailed illustrations and descriptions are excellent; the full colour photos shows specimens in situ and habitats. A tiny bump to the front top outer corner (hardly worth mentioning); otherwise an excellent, "as new" copy, thus without library markings or signs of use.
