Printed boards with blind linen spine. = Written by John Ramsay of Kildalton, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Glasgow on the occasion of the opening of the Suez Canal on 11 January 1870. The diaries mainly deal with contacts with fellow Scotsmen and their achievements. Some wear to spine ends and boards; otherwise a ver good, clean copy.
