Two volumes in two. 8vo (22.0 x 13.2; 21.7 x 14.0 cm). 168; 128, xlvi [ii] pp. Original glossy patterned and plain green wrappers. = Rare work on the botany of Bohemia (Czechia). The author, Kaspar Graf von Sternberg (1761-1833) was a founder of the Mational (later Natural History) Museum in Prague. A handwritten note on the front wrapper verso of the first volume states that this was a gift by the author. Otherwise, both copies are clean, unmarked. The sizes are slightly different, as are the wrappers, but both are uncut, as published. A very good, complete set. Stafleu and Cowan, 13.021.
