8vo., First Edition, with 52 plates on 16, paper browning slightly; dark green cloth, gilt back, a very good, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter heavily sunned at backstrip. A well-illustrated personal account. The author served with The Glosters in France during 1940 and again in 1944, ending the war as Senior Chaplain. In 1947 he was appointed SC to 43rd Wessex Division, and Honorary Chaplain to HM the Queen in 1959.
