First Edition, First Impression and one of only 275 signed and numbered copies. Tipped in frontispiece in colours, illustrated title-page and 51 full page tipped on plates. 4to, publisher's original purple cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine and upper cover, in the printed dustjacket and now housed in a chemise and morocco backed slipcase, the spine of the slipcase with raised bands and lettering in gilt. viii, + 51 tipped-on plates. A very well preserved copy, the dustjacket whole though with some rubbing to the extremities and a chip at the bottom of the spine panel, the book in quite pleaing condition, clean internally, the purple cloth in good order, slight mellowing to a few areas of the cloth, a nice collectible copy.
