Disbound. = Written by the British ornithologist and police officer Edward Charles Stuart Baker (1864-1944) and dealing with the group of kalij or silver pheasants. Baker was the author of A hand-list of genera and species of birds of the Indian Empire, and some other monographs of Indian birds. Published in the Society's Journal, Volume 23. Chip in the inner margin of the last, detached, leaf; otherwise very good. Rare.
