Contemporary (original?) blind wrappers. = A seldom-seen, classic, and well-illustrated monograph on British Permian fossil marine animals by the British geologist and palaeontologist William King (1809-1886). Fish and molluscs are best represented. Many species are described and illustrated here for the first time. Wrappers chipped and frayed at edges, but still good. One text leaf with marginal tear; some plates with marginal repair; some light foxing throughout, and some offsetting (plates to text leaves), otherwise very good. Nissen ZBI, 2184.
