London, Edward Lloyd, 1896. 8vo (18.1 x 12.2 cm). xvi, 310 pp.; 38 chromolithographed plates. Contemporary diced half morocco over pebbled boards. Spine with gilt double lines and title. Blue endpapers. Speckled edges. = An unusual clean copy. From the series, Lloyd's Natural History edited by R. Bowdler Sharpe, the only part dealing with marsupials. Very light wear to spine top and rear hinge, some weak spotting to one text leaf, otherwise a mint copy. An uncommon book, but definitely very rare in this excellent condition.
