First Edition, stated first printing. 8vo, publisher’s original maroon coarse-wove cloth lettered in gilt on the upper cover. 102 pp. A very appealing copy, internally very fine, the spine panel of the cloth binding faded as is common and with the lettering dulled out, the gilt on the front cover is still bright and fresh and there is essentially no wear, free-fly excised.
Edizione: a very nice copy of the book that would win robert frost his third pulitzer prize. the work contains groups of poems subtitled "taken doubly", "taken singly", "ten mills", "the outlands", "build soil" and lastly ends with the afterthought, "a missive missile."
