First Edition, and early printing with 2.50 on the rear panel of the dustjacket. 8vo, publisher’s original maroon cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and upper cover, in the original dustjacket. 102 pp. A near fine copy of the book, the scarce jacket with some edgewear and chips but still attractive.
Edizione: a very nice copy of the book that would win robert frost his third pulitzer prize. the work contains groups of poems subtitled "taken doubly", "taken singly", "ten mills", "the outlands", "build soil" and lastly ends with the afterthought, "a missive missile."
