Contemporary blind, ruled half roan over marbled boards. = The well-preserved molluscan faunas described here are probably all of Pliocene, rather than of Miocene age. Several were regarded as Pliocene already by Maury and by Gilbert Harris, who collected the material. Many species are new. Several recent specimens are illustrated too, for comparison. This is the complete volume 10 of the Institute's Bulletins, with two other papers bound in front. Maury's contribution is by far the largest. Index pages bound between plates 24 and 25. Label on front pastedown, otherwise not marked. Rare, as all early issues of the Bulletins of American Paleontology.
