Publisher's warm grey buckram, with red and gilt title on spine. = First edition. In 1963 an American edition was published too. With the small stamp off the German ecologist, malacologist and entomologist Herbert Ant (1933-2010) on front free endpaper recto and half-title, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
