This is a very good hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued. This large book has some wear: the corners are lightly bumped. Completely clean inside and out. Text in Portuguese with English translations at the end. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Portugal at the Museu Serralves in 2004. This is the first comprehensive exhibition of the work of the Portuguese Homeoesthetics Group, active in the 1980's, since the period. The artists in the group included: Fernando Brito, Ivo, Manuel Vieira, Pedro Portugal, Pedro Proenca, and Xana. Essays by Jorge Ramos de O and Marta Moreira de Almeda. Reproductions of many of the group's manifestos and theoretical texts. Illustrated in color and black & white with vintage photographs of the artists. Bibliography.
